Christmas with a Purpose: An Evening Where Music Meets Mission
The Christmas season is a time for celebration, gratitude, and giving. This year, East Tennessee will have an opportunity to experience all three through a remarkable event that combines world-class music with a meaningful cause. On Saturday, November 28, 2026, Christmas with a Purpose will bring together acclaimed artists, local businesses, churches, and community members for an unforgettable evening dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Hosted at The Venue at Lenoir City, this special benefit concert is presented and organized by Armor Gold Cables, a company known throughout the music industry for its commitment to excellence and its passion for supporting both artists and communities. More than just a concert, Christmas with a Purpose is a celebration of hope, compassion, and the power of people coming together to create lasting change.
A Night Designed to Make a Difference
Every year, countless people in our communities struggle with homelessness, food insecurity, financial hardship, and a lack of basic necessities. While Christmas is often associated with joy and abundance, many individuals face the season with uncertainty about where their next meal will come from, how they will stay warm, or how they will provide for loved ones.
Cold Hands Warm Hearts works tirelessly to meet those needs with dignity, compassion, and practical assistance. Through meals, clothing, hygiene products, groceries, outdoor gear, and personal support, the ministry provides both immediate help and a sense of belonging to people experiencing difficult circumstances.
Christmas with a Purpose was created to amplify that mission.
By bringing together exceptional artists and generous community partners, the event will help provide additional resources, food, gifts, and essential items during the holiday season while raising awareness about the ongoing needs that exist throughout the year.
A Star-Studded Lineup
One of the most exciting aspects of Christmas with a Purpose is the incredible lineup of nationally recognized artists scheduled to perform.
Casey James
Many music fans were introduced to Casey James as a Top 3 finalist on Season 9 of American Idol. Since then, he has built a successful career as a singer, songwriter, and guitarist known for blending country, blues, rock, and soul into a signature sound all his own.
James has shared stages with artists including Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Delbert McClinton, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. His performances combine outstanding musicianship with authentic storytelling, creating memorable experiences for audiences wherever he performs.
Mark MacKay
A seasoned performer and accomplished guitarist, Mark MacKay has spent years captivating audiences across the country. His music combines heartfelt songwriting, powerful guitar work, and an energetic stage presence that resonates with both rock and country music fans.
MacKay has performed alongside renowned artists such as the Steve Miller Band, REO Speedwagon, Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, and Gary Allan. Having appeared at legendary venues including Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and the Kennedy Center, he brings a wealth of experience and artistry to every performance.
Morgan Myles
Country-soul powerhouse Morgan Myles became a national sensation during Season 22 of NBC’s The Voice, where her incredible vocal ability earned her a place among the show’s Top 3 finalists.
Since then, Myles has continued to build momentum with a career marked by authenticity, passion, and remarkable vocal performances. Her music often explores themes of perseverance, faith, healing, and hope, making her an ideal addition to an event focused on encouraging and uplifting others.
Together, these three artists will create an inspiring evening filled with incredible music, memorable stories, and a shared commitment to helping those in need.
Armor Gold Cables: Bringing the Music Community Together
For years, Armor Gold Cables has cultivated strong relationships throughout the music industry by providing premium products trusted by musicians and performers. However, Christmas with a Purpose represents something deeper than business.
The event reflects Armor Gold’s belief that music possesses a unique ability to unite people across different backgrounds, experiences, and communities. Through this concert, Armor Gold Cables is using its industry relationships and resources to create an opportunity for meaningful impact far beyond the stage.
The vision is simple but powerful: leverage great music to generate hope, support local ministries, and inspire generosity throughout the community.
It is a reminder that success is most meaningful when it is used to serve others.
An Opportunity for Businesses and Community Leaders
Christmas with a Purpose offers local businesses, churches, organizations, and community leaders an opportunity to become active participants in the event’s mission through sponsorship.
Sponsors play a critical role in helping offset the costs associated with producing a professional concert, including venue expenses, artist accommodations, sound and lighting production, hospitality, and event operations. Their support allows a greater portion of proceeds to directly benefit Cold Hands Warm Hearts and the people the ministry serves.
Several sponsorship levels are available:
- Presenting Sponsor — $5,000
- Hope Sponsor — $2,500
- Blessing Sponsor — $1,000
- Heart Sponsor — $500
- Friend of the Event — $250
- In-Kind Sponsor — Product or service donations
In return, sponsors may receive benefits such as VIP access, premium seating opportunities, event signage, digital and printed recognition, social media promotion, and acknowledgement during the concert.
More importantly, sponsorship represents an investment in the local community. It sends a message to struggling individuals and families that they are seen, valued, and supported.
For many businesses, this event provides a meaningful way to align community outreach efforts with a cause that offers tangible, measurable impact.
